Chef Aurora Goy is a chef whose life and cuisine are defined by a deep appreciation for time and heritage. Born in France with Portuguese roots, her culinary calling was shaped by a family of cooks. Her professional foundation was built in esteemed Parisian kitchens, including the three-Michelin-starred Guy Savoy.

Her international journey also included formative internships in Lisbon at acclaimed restaurants Belcanto and Tavares Rico.

At the right moment, she settled permanently in Porto, where seven years ago she opened her signature restaurant, Apego. Here, her philosophy is fully realized. The restaurant is a reflection on the rhythm of seasons, slow production, and the intrinsic value of time spent at the table, creating a dining experience as meaningful and unhurried as a meal at home.
