Bacalhau, Muro do Bacalhau and RO
Chef João Pupo Lameiras forged his culinary path from a unique background in Civil Engineering. In 2010, driven by a passion confirmed during kitchen internships, he made the decisive leap into gastronomy.
That same year, he co-founded and led the kitchen at Casa de Pasto da Palmeira, a foundational project that expanded into a successful group of restaurants. He later joined as chef and partner of Restaurante Bacalhau, a move that defined his subsequent career.
Under this banner, he opened the acclaimed restaurants RO (2016) and Muro do Bacalhau (2021). Today, Chef Lameiras remains the hands-on chef, partner, and manager of these three establishments while also pursuing consulting projects, workshops, and small caterings.
